Afternoon by the Pond

Agnes Ellen Gurney sitting with her cat beside her backyard pond probably in Santa Barbara, California. She was born 12 October 1867 in Pepperell, Massachusetts. Her parents were Ebenezer Henry Gurney and Mary Williams Orcutt. Agnes married the dashing William Brown Pinkerton in 1891 in Grinnell, Iowa. Later in life, William and Agnes retired to sunny Santa Barbara.
